What purchasing options are there?
You can buy direct retail, or finance for 36 or 48 months through our financing partners.
How long does it take to charge?
Charge times vary on so many different things. Things like age of the battery, how many times they’ve been emptied and recharged, and even the weather affect charge times. That said, if you plug in at night, you can be sure they’ll be ready for your first tee times in the morning!
What about stability?
We spent a significant amount of time engineering the ideal length and width of the wheel base that would make the SOLOCART as stable as possible. The low and centralized weight distribution and perfectly engineered wheelbase makes the SOLOCART very stable. The stability is usually one of the first things riders notice and comment about when they hop on!
Where do my clubs go?
Unlike a traditional cart, your clubs go on the front of the SOLOCART! This may seem like a small change, but we’ve found golfers really enjoy this one!
Is there an option for a seat?
Absolutely! The SOLOCART has an extremely comfortable premium seat with a built-in suspension.
How long will a charge last?
Again, this will vary on so many things. We don’t want to make a promise we can’t deliver on, so we’ll say this - Under perfect conditions, the SOLOCART will travel 20 miles on a charge. Most courses will find a SOLOCART will be good for 36 holes before needing to be charged.
How fast does it go?
Top speed is 11 MPH. There is an on-board computer that controls speed including going up and down hills. The beauty of this computer is that a rider can’t mess with it like they can with a governor on a golf cart. The computer also controls how quickly the cart speeds up and slows down. We’ve programmed this computer to offer the smoothest ride possible.
What do I do about insurance?
While we can’t tell you how to insure your business we can tell you that many insurance companies will add single rider golf carts to your policy at little or no extra charge.
What colors are available?
Currently, the SOLOCART comes with a white body.
How easy is it to ride the SOLOCART?
Extraordinarily easy! Our steering system is virtually the same as steering a bicycle, and the throttle is a simple thumb throttle like you find on an all terrain vehicle. When surveyed, most riders say they feel “extremely comfortable” before they even finish the first hole.
How much does it weigh?
The SOLOCART weighs around 320 pounds when fully loaded with all accessories! This is around 1/3 the weight of a traditional cart. With lower weight and special turf tires, the SOLOCART provides significantly less turf impact which goes a long way to keeping the course in great shape!
